The aim of this foundation is, similar to the Touche Eclat pen, to illuminate and brighten your face. After years in manufacture, testing and re-testing the foundation has hit counters in 22 shades. These shades are split into three under-tones; Beige Rose, Beige and Beige Dore so in theory there should be a shade for any skintone.

I was matched to Beige Dore 20 by the YSL consultant. Let's get it out there - I love this stuff! Okay well there's some conditions as to when I love it: I have to use it with my beauty blender sponge rather than my usual foundation brush (Real Techniques Buffing Brush). I feel like because it's quite a runny foundation it works better with a sponge! This is definitely the lightest foundation, in terms of coverage that I have in my collection but lately that's what I've been after. I'm not sure why, because I'm having more difficulties with my skin than ever, but it feels nice not to feel like a layer of makeup is sitting on my skin! I really love the finish it gives to my face - a glowly, natural look! This foundation is all about attracting light to your face and making you appear more 'radiant', which it does! It doesn't make you look shiny or greasy in the slightest.
