Everyday Face

My go-to makeup look is pretty simple but it's a clean look that makes you look put-together even though most of the time I've pressed snooze way too many on the alarm and I'm running out of the door!

The 10 Best Things About Christmas

  1. drinking champagne from breakfast to bedtime.
  2. being allowed to eat as much food as you physically can - parsnips, turkey & roast potatoes.
  3. watching everyone open the presents you've spent ages planning, buying and wrapping!
  4. having a whole day where you don't have any obligations like work or jobs to do!
  5. being able to eat your weight in chocolate!
  6. Christmas sales - you can now treat yourself to everything else on your wishlist that didn't make it to your stocking!
  7. it's acceptable to have an afternoon nap even though you're not a toddler anymore!
  8. christmas tv - all the specials! Eastenders, Mrs Brown's Boys and the comedians shows!
  9. christmas games! who am i? charades etc.
  10. family. spending the day with those that you care about!
Merry Christmas! I hope you've all had a lovely day and spend it with people you love!

The Basics: Foundation

the basics - skincare
This is the second post in the series, where I cover all of the basics in all areas of makeup, week by week! There will be a new post up every Friday!

Foundation is a probably one of the first products people think of when you mention makeup. Foundation is used to create an even, uniform colour to the complexion, to cover or minimise the appearance of flaws and, sometimes, to change the natural skin tone. However, foundation is not the only product on the market that can do that - there are also BB Creams, CC Creams and Tinted Moisturisers. Foundation is not essential, or another base product, but they can really make a difference to the overall look.

Red Cherry #213 Lashes

Can you tell I'm obsessed? Sorry, I didn't mean to spoil the whole - did I or did I not like these lashes ha!

Back in April I thought I'd treat myself to some individual lashes and although they were lovely when they eventually come to falling out - so did my natural lashes. Obviously, I was not impressed and so I have not been back for more but it does mean the lashes I'm left with are short and it's just not working for me! I turned to strip lashes because they're super quick and easy and I can take them off and really wash my face without worrying about cluster lashes falling off!
